Dark Chocolate 1 (Organic 65%)

  • Chocolate

Dark chocolate 1 origins from Peru and has subtle notes from red fruits. It is a 65% organic chocolate made from cocoa solids and cocoa butter, with a small amount of sugar. It has a rich, intense chocolate flavor and a high cocoa content. Cocoa beans are fermented, roasted, and processed to extract cocoa solids.

Dark chocolate offers numerous benefits. Its theobromine content provides a mild energy boost, while antioxidants promote heart health and reduce disease risks. The production of endorphins in the brain is stimulated, resulting in feelings of pleasure. Cognitive function and brain health may improve due to the flavonoids present. Additionally, dark chocolate contains vital minerals like iron, magnesium, and copper. Surprisingly low in sugar, it is a lower-calorie alternative to other chocolates. With a lower glycemic index than milk chocolate, it has a gentler impact on blood sugar levels.
